Irem Madonna Power

Here is the Power setup when I got the cab. It was made in Japan, and is wired for 100V which (I guess) is the norm there. All the specks you see in the back are broken glass from the original bezel. Now that was fun to clean up...
Close up of the power line filter. Notice anything? It's all but melted. This was my first clue that I needed to rewire the whole cabinet. Also notice that the power cord only has 2 leads. The ground is meant to be hooked up to the post you see just to the left of the filter. That has to go too.
Yet another clue. No airflow at all.
I rewired the power board with a 120V switching PSU from Bob Roberts and added a 120V - 100V step down transformer for good measure. The monitor seemed to work fine at 120V, but I thought this might make it last longer.
Here it is mounted in the cab before adding the grounding wires and Jamma harness.
And a new line filter to boot with grounding lead.
