First item of business, pull the PCB you want to modify out of the cab.
Take the cover off.
If you have a 4 or 6 slot board, CAREFULLY seperate the two halves. You will need to remove a couple of screws and bolts. Make sure you have them all out before trying to pull it apart.
Locate the BIOS chip. It should be socketed. If it is not....you are on your own. I would not mess with a surface mounted chip myself.
!!!CAREFULLY!!! pry the chip out of the socket. Go slow. Start at one side and gently push a flat bladed screwdriver under the chip. Twist it slightly to lift the chip. Do the same on the other side. Don't rush or you will crack it.
Put the new chip in it's place. Line up the small notch on the chip with the notch mark on the PCB. Be sure to line up all the pins, and push it in gently.
Following Jeff's instructions, solder one end of each of the other two wires to the resistors (one wire per resistor). Jeff makes it easy to do as he has prepared a spot for you to solder to. Next, solder the end of the third wire to the 11th pin on the bottom of the BIOS chip. This is a ground, and it is the black wire in this picture. I try to keep all the grounds Black or Green. This one is a bit trickier. Take your time.
